To understand these flat pedals you need to have your roots in the distant world of Old School BMX from the ‘80s. The classic “beartrap” shape has been reengineered to create a comfortable and lightweight pedal. It works great on your MTB, but we imagine it would also be ideal for bikepackers who travel with free feet and lightweight shoes, or to add a touch of class to the bike you use every day to commute. New colors and a cheaper version with a steel axle will be released soon.
